AFC Wings

2nd Lieutenant George Henry Carr enlisted on the 24th of July, 1915 with the Australian Imperial Force. George Carr was training to be a pilot with the Australian Flying Corps in 1918 in England. Due to the lack of Australian training resources, it was common for AFC cadets to be attached to Royal Air Force training squadrons. George Carr died in an accident while attached to 43 Training Squadron RAF.
