This is a speculative profile of E8050 that was E. Roy Kings mount in October and November of 1918. E8050 has been the elusive photograph matching the Sopwith Snipe with the Flight Marking "A" for the common aircraft of the A Flight Commander. Several photographs of the aircraft marked A appear in numerous references but so far none explicitly linking E8050 to "A". E. Roy King and E8050 are of particular interest as King was not only the second leading claimant in the AFC but also the leading scorer of all Services on the Sopwith Snipe.
