    Artillery Co-operation - 59 Targets were dealt with by aeroplane observation and 27 by balloon observation.

    Enemy Aircraft - An Offensive Patrol of 20 Squadron engaged 15 Albatros scouts in the vicinity of Becelaere. Lt H.G.E. Luchford and 2nd Lt J. Tennant opened fire on one EA which banked across their front and the EA spun down through cloud. It was followed down, attacked again, and seen to crash. Two other EA were driven down out of control; one by Capt F.D. Stevens & Lt Kydd, and one by 2nd Lts O.H.D. Vickers & S.F. Thompson. In other combats EA were claimed out of control by Flight Lt R.R. Soar, 8 Squadron RNAS; Flight Cdr C.A. Eyre and Flight Sub-Lt C.G. Brooks; both of 1 Squadron RNAS. Captain K.L. Caldwell and Lt W.E. Jenkins, both of 60 Squadron.
